Join the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras for our 74th Season Opening Concert! Performances by Symphony Orchestra (Marcello Cormio conductor); Concert Orchestra (Marcello Cormio conductor); Repertory Orchestra (Nancy Campbell and Lois Wiggins conductors); Preparatory String Orchestra (Nancy Campbell and Mary Elizabeth Henton conductors); and Percussion Ensemble (Austin Shoupe director). This concert will also feature our student winners of the 2021 spring Borchardt Concert Competition. Concerto Competition Winning Soloists are: Emily Hu piano (Dunbar High School); Madeline Deep flute (Henry Clay High School); and Alden Yorba violin (Dunbar High School). This performance marks the organizations first live in-person concert back at the Singletary Center for the Arts since February 2020! Come celebrate our return to the concert stage! Masks are required for all attendee's and performers.
