🌽 Harvesting Accountability: Protest & March for Justice 🌽📍 Starting at Temple Foundation Building, marching to Iron & Santa Fe
📅 Sunday, September 21st, 2025 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
As Kansas enters harvest season, we’re demanding more than crops, we’re demanding accountability. From state and local officials who enable injustice, to institutions that profit from the pain of working families, we are done staying silent.
Join us as we march through downtown Salina to call out abuses of power, immigrant exploitation, ICE raids, environmental neglect, political corruption, and every system that reaps our labor but sows oppression.
đź“Ś BRING A LEAF, WEAR AUTUMN COLORS:
We’re asking everyone to bring a paper Autumn leaf cutout with a message, demand, or human right written on it, something you believe is worth fighting for. These leaves will be added to a giant tree of accountability that we’ll share online and send directly to Senator Roger Marshall. We also ask that you wear a color symbolizing fall- burnt orange, red, yellow, etc. but not totally necessary.
We will also have sign making event beforehand (date coming soon) I encourage you to make something on theme! But this is of course- your choice!
🗳️ VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
Don’t forget: the deadline to register to vote in Kansas is October 14th. If you’re not registered or need to update your info, now is the time. Your voice at the ballot box is just as important as your voice in the streets. National Voter Registration day is also Sept 24th which ties in perfectly to this particular protest + March.
