About this Event
Our all-volunteer, community orchestra is proud to present "From Civil War to Civil Rights," a free concert open to all in Jacksonville, FL. This event is more than a musical journey—it is a space for reflection, dialogue, and community healing.
The program for the concert is:
• “Lincoln Portrait” by Aaron Copland
• “Lift Every Voice and Sing” by J. Rosamond Johnson & James Weldon Johnson
• “The Montgomery Variations” (selections) by Margaret Allison Bonds
• “Harlem Symphony” by James P. Johnson
Join us in creating a moment of healing and harmony for Jacksonville. Together, we can turn the lessons of history into a foundation for lasting community growth.
