Are you ready to time travel and touch real history? Adventure back over 160 years to the Civil War, right here in Lewisburg! On Saturdays (September 13th & 20th, October 4th, 18th, & 25th), the North House Museum opens the Civil War Medicine Trunk from 12PM to 1PM. We peek at life for nurses, doctors, and soldiers in the 1860s. We have real bullets from the Civil War, medical tools, soldier’s supplies, and more!
Join us for a walk outside to stand in the footsteps of soldiers who fought in the Battle of Lewisburg, look over downtown Lewisburg and imagine the battle, and discover buildings that were actually hit by cannon balls! This family friendly activity for kids of all ages is included in your regular admission.
