MAGASIN 4 PRESENTS :CIVEROUS (US) (Death Metal) (20 Buck Spin Records)
Civerous was first formed and has been active since 2019 releasing a demo, a split and a live promo. During the pandemic, while disease washed over the world, Civerous locked themselves away and recorded their first full-length album, “Decrepit Flesh Relic”. After a series of shows, the band went on tour, riding a miasma over the Pacific Northwest and Arizona before playing Mexico City at Total Death over Mexico and being signed to 20 Buck Spin. The band played an electric set at K*ll-Town Death Fest 2023 and will released their sophomore album, “Maze Envy”, on March 22nd. The band will spend 2024 hitting several American fests: Disembowelled God Fest, Austin Death Fest, Death Over Bakersfield, and Deadstock 2. Civerous is eager to draw the rest of the world into the labyrinth to find their own charm of longing. The band is composed of Issaiah Vaca, Drew Horton, Alonso Santana, Daniel Salinas and Aidan Neuner.
CREMATORY STENCH (US) (Death Metal) (Bloodharvest Records)
Hailing from Southern California, CREMATORY STENCH formed in 2014 and released their self-titled debut EP two years later. Then a trio, the band's sound was a thrashing take on late '80s death metal, largely nodding to early Death and Pestilence. Now expanded to a quartet and having been a prolific force on the live front, CREMATORY STENCH's attack has but gotten nastier, gnarlier, and creepier. One could argue that with Grotesque Deformities, they have entered the very early '90s, owing as they do to the gutsfuck sounds coming from Sweden then. Either way, it's utterly hellish.
CARNAL DESECRATION (BE) (Death Metal / Black Metal)
CARNAL DESECRATION is a death metal band hailing from Antwerp, Belgium with former members of Belgium's finest underground bands. With over twenty years of experience these guys know how to play death metal the right way!
The band was formed in 2018 by Pieter Van De Putte (guitar) and Kristof Hectors (bass/vocals). Shortly afterwards Sam Vanhove (drums) and Den Beuk (guitar) joined to complete the line-up.
A self titled 3-song EP was released in 2020.
In 2022 11 songs were recorded and their first full album "Sacrificial Death" was released.
CARNAL DESECRATION delivers a mixture of aggression, neck breaking riffs and haunting melodies. Combining the best of the filthy worlds of death, black and thrash metal. Not following trends or hypes, they stand for uncompromising deathmetal.
Thanks to this attitude, they have already shared several stages with bands such as Incantation, Asphyx, Carnation, Bodyfarm, Autophagy and many more.
