This fall, Florida Community Innovation is working with the Alliance of Civic Technologists to host Gainesville’s first “CityCamp”, a half-day unconference. It’s participant-driven, rather than speaker-driven, so the public shapes the agenda. We’re bringing together residents, civic leaders, government staff, technologists, entrepreneurs, and community organizations to tackle local challenges through collaboration and shared ideas. We’ll have different sessions, like workshops and hackathons, on everything civic technology. CityCamp Gainesville will be at Pascal’s on September 20th, 11 AM to 5 PM. We’re looking for partners and contributors! Whether you’re with local government, a nonprofit, or a neighborhood group, we’d love your support.
