Celebrate the launch of City Reflections, a projection trail sharing Southampton’s heritage through community co-creation
About this Event

This opening night event upstairs at Dancing Man Brewery will include a relaxed drinks reception, short welcome speeches at 5.10pm ahead of going downstairs for the first viewing of the projection outside at this historic venue. From 6pm, guests are warmly invited to explore the other five City Reflections projections at their own pace.

City Reflections is a free outdoor projection trail transforming sthe walls of six heritage buildings in Southampton’s Old Town and city centre into visual storytelling canvases.

The event presents the city’s heritage and collections through the voices and perspectives of the people who live here. Drawing on archive material alongside contemporary community contributions, the projections reveal stories that shape Southampton’s identity today.

The trail runs for four nights, from Wednesday 18 to Saturday 21 February 2026, with all projections live daily from 6–8pm.
