City of Virginia Beach Disaster Recovery Workshop

The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is hosting an all-day recovery workshop for City departments to re-initiate disaster recovery planning in the City. The workshop will feature presentations from outside speakers and provide participants with an overview of the disaster recovery process and key priority areas to focus on for the City.

OEM strongly encourages departmental leadership attendance at this workshop. Directors are encouraged to invite at least two stakeholders from their departments with larger departments providing more stakeholders based on their disaster response & recovery roles.

Registration begins at 8:30AM; opening remarks & introductions at 9AM.
