Genre legends Christopher George and Catriona MacColl star as a swarthy reporter and beleaguered psychic who find themselves the only chance humanity has to overcome a horde of zombies unleashed following the suicide of a priest on sacred ground. Part of Fulci's Gates of Hell trilogy, it's a film packed to the gills with nightmare imagery running on dream logic and gore. Maggot storms, scalping, teleporting zombies, head-drillings. Anything can happen...and it does!
This is one of Nick's favorite horror movies, and one of the classics of Italian horror cinema. In addition to George and MacColl, the film also features Italo-genre greats Giovanni Lombardo Radice and the also-legendary Michele Soavi (director of Cemetery Man), as well as a cameo by Fulci himself!
