Join us for the City of Lights Film Festival on November 8-9, 2024.
Friday, November 8 - OPENING NIGHT
Doors open at 6:30PM at Two Brothers Roundhouse. Grab a drink, walk the red carpet, and rub elbows with fellow film folk during the evening's Social Hour. Ticket holders receive a single free draft beer or soft drink.
At 7:15PM, the program begins in the Tavern Room. Settle in for an evening of panel discussions and a feature film screening, where local filmmakers and creators will be present. From 9PM onwards, boogie to our DJ as you gear up for a full day of film tomorrow.
Saturday, November 9 - CLOSING NIGHT
Take in a variety of short, feature, documentary, and narrative films at three different locations downtown.
During each block's break, grab a bite or a coffee (we suggest both) at any of downtown Aurora's restaurants, bar, and roastery locations. Keep your eyes peeled...you may catch a filmmaker at any of our downtown joints.
Join us at The Venue at 8PM to close out our weekend celebrating creative filmmaking. The Audience Award will be presented as you clink your glasses and bop your head to our in-house DJ.
To recognize this year's newest category, the Best in Music Video Award will be presented to a local talent by our closing night speaker...
Cole Bennett, founder of Lyrical Lemonade, will be on-site to speak to attendees about his rise in the music video directing sphere. From picking up a camera in Plano, IL, and directing local hip-hop artists in Chicago, to directing major players in the game (Eminem, and Jack Harlow, to name a few)--Bennett will speak to his core love of film and the art of getting the shot right.
