The City of Joondalup in partnership with Perth Symphony Orchestra is proud to present the Young Musician of the Year Award 2025.
💭 Picture this: You’ve dreamed of owning the stage, playing to a packed house, and proving your talent can cut through the competition. Well, here’s your chance to turn that dream into reality!
This isn’t your average search for the next emerging talent… and this is more than a title — it’s your launchpad. The winner will get the opportunity to perform live with Perth Symphony Orchestra in 2026, plus share in a prize pool of $5,000!
🎻 We’re shining the spotlight on young musicians aged 14 to 23 across five epic categories: Brass, Percussion, Strings, Woodwind and Piano.
So if you’re 14-23, love music, live for the stage and want to show the state exactly what you’re made of — we want to hear from you (literally). Video submissions open Friday August 1 and close Sunday August 31.
