WEB-BASED GARAGE SALE MAP (Not just for city-wide garage sales)
In an effort to streamline the garage sale experience in the City of Beaver Dam for residents and visitors, we are excited to unveil a new web-based garage sale map (Map).
This platform allows residents and community organizations to fill out an online form indicating the garage sale address, dates, item categories, and other details. Users will also be allowed to attach up to 10 photos. Once the form has been submitted, reviewed, and approved the event will automatically be loaded onto the public facing Map.
"We are thrilled to introduce this innovative tool to our community," says Nathan Thiel, City Administrator. "This online solution not only enhances the garage sale experience for everyone participating, it also is a modern way to advertise and free to use."
The Map enables users to explore all upcoming, registered garage sales within the City of Beaver Dam. Whether you're a seasoned bargain hunter or simply seeking weekend entertainment, this Map provides a comprehensive overview of sales throughout the city. Users may also filter sales displayed by item categories and print out a map or address listing. The easy-to-use map interface will allow shoppers to plan routes and navigate the city.
