City Nature Challenge is a friendly international competition to see which cities can document the most wildlife in a single weekend. Put Memphis on the map by joining Overton Park Conservancy, Memphis Botanic Garden, T.O. Fuller State Park, University of Memphis – Meeman Biological Station, and Wolf River Conservancy for a weekend of fun nature-focused events, or use iNaturalist to record wildlife observations on your own! The results of the challenge will be announced on May 6, and we’ll see how Memphis ranked!All are welcome. The event is free with registration. All ages are welcome. The event will be held outside. Please dress for the weather. Well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome. A chair or blanket and non-alcoholic refreshments are encouraged. Participation is limited, please register via the ticket link to reserve your seat.
