The City Nature Challenge is a 4-day nature hunt! This global event calls on people of all ages and backgrounds to get outside, take pictures of wildlife, then submit their pictures using the iNaturalist app. Your findings help scientists measure changes in our local biodiversity over time.You can contribute to this global biodiversity challenge no matter where you are in Johnson County!
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3:
1. Download the iNaturalist app and make an account
2. Take photos of WILD plants, animals, insects, and other wildlife anywhere in Johnson County between April 25-28, 2025
3. Upload your discoveries to iNaturalist
