About this Event
Come and join us for our annual Charity Special breakfast event on Wednesday 4th December!
At this event we will be joined by MK:ACT, a charity we have supported for many years with this year being no exception. Lolly Marlborough and Sue Burke will be attending on behalf of the charity.
MK:ACT is a charity in Milton Keynes which works with over 100 families every day to help them move on from fear and abuse. They have been providing safe emergency accommodation in Milton Keynes for people and their children escaping domestic violence for over 45 years.
Domestic abuse occurs across society, regardless of age, gender, race, sexuality, wealth, and geography. MK ACT offers help to anyone aged 16 years and up within Milton Keynes.
What you can do
We are encouraging you all to bring a donation of toys for any age range and toiletries. All items must be unused and unwrapped, making it easier to sort for donations. Many of the people that MK:ACT support turn up with just the clothes on their back, so toiletries can help them as soon as they arrive, and toys will help to make sure that Christmas can be as normal as possible for the children.
Tea and coffee will be served on arrival, with an opportunity to network and enjoy breakfast. We would love see you there
