About this Event
The goal of Circling is for a group of people to see the world through your eyes, and for you to see the world through other people’s eyes. We flourish under the influence of caring, curious, and non-judgmental attention – and so does the connection between us.
Circling is designed to:
- Cut through the crust of superficiality and alienation
- Drop you into the deeper waters of connection
- Help you examine the thoughts behind your thoughts, the assumptions behind your opinions, and the peculiar alchemy that turns a stranger into a friend
At this session, we're going to focus on owning your experience. That means taking responsibility for what is true for you rather than making assessments or assertions about others. Our emotions and reactions are our own, and no one "makes" us feel anything.
By owning your experience, you'll discover how strong you are emotionally and start to inquire about what is behind people's words and actions without being triggered as quickly.
