A Moment to Slow Down and Connect..
What is Circling?
Circling is an exciting and transformational way of being with each other in the present moment. This relational practice invites us to slow down, to express feelings and sensations, to discover more about ourselves and others and to uncover a deeper sense of our truth.
What is Authentic Relating?
A practice of expressing yourself to others via a series of connecting games designed to reveal more of your truth. It’s closely linked to Circling and provides all the necessary tools to be in Circle with each other.
Who is the retreat aimed at?
This retreat is ideal for people completely new or experienced at Circling and/or Authentic Relating. If you are unsure whether this is for you, you might ask:
Do you want to be really heard by others & to practice expressing yourself in a safe space?
Would you like to explore & share feelings as they arise? For example, loneliness or desire, anxiety or pleasure?
Do you want to feel more connected to your body?
Do you want to connect more deeply with others and with nature?
In Circling we gently explore our own and each others’ worlds with curiosity and care. All we ask from you is to come with a commitment to connect whilst staying true to your integrity. Past participants have left feeling empowered, with a refined and expanded awareness and a deeper ability to listen well and notice. They have explored their own vulnerability and seen it expressed in others. They have also had fun, eaten well, all in the heart of nature!
How?
We Circle each other in quiet, beautiful spaces, in movement & over food provided by our dedicated and experienced chef. We use somatic exploration, curiosity, meditation, deep listening, music and breathwork to share sensation & connection with each other. We relax at the end of the day with a sound bath, conversation and laughter. You are invited to find your own pace and level of involvement in any one moment and to contribute as much or as little as feels right.
