About this Event
The Circlehood is a gathering space to be serenaded by the seasons, find a compass in the cosmos, untangle interiors, sit with discomforts and naked truths, and become better seen partners in a unicorn community centered in belonging. The Circlehood serves female and femme identifying folx in seasonal sisterhood memberships (unlimited access to circles and online community) and drop in circles as well as all gender identities, expressions, and nonconforming beings in an antiracism + allyship book club plus monthly community gatherings called "seenery practice". This circle is specifically for female and femme identifying folx to enhance sisterhood’s superpowers in a space aware of the harms that separate us.
In all the Circlehood communities and services, unknowns are held in illumination and you are invited to feel your worth as a complex human being You are not a machine momma. Welcome to your comfort zone outside of your comfort zone, a magical inbetween for magnified growth!
**Please plan on staying for the entirety of the circle (2 hours max) unless communicated prior. Circle will take place in Central Park, specific location TBD. Please let us know in advance if there is anything we can do to make the space more accessible to any specific needs. Email [email protected].
A percentage of each purchased Drop In Ticket will be going to The Consortium of Asian American Theaters & Artists. CAATA envisions a strong and sustainable Asian American theater community that is an integral presence in national culture—evocative of our past, declarative of our present, and innovative towards our future.
