About this Event
We’re excited to invite you to our Christmas meet up at Libraries Unlimited in Exeter. Huge thanks to the excellent Rae Hoole, Creative Communities Producer at Libraries Unlimited for offering to host the event in the Rougemont Room in the wonderful city centre library.
In keeping with the literary theme, we are thrilled to let you know that local author Dr Ellen Wiles, Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Exeter, will be giving a reading from her hot-off-the-press novel, The Unexpected (HarperCollins):
‘A funny, addictive and poignant novel about what happens when the lines between friendship, romance, and family begin to blur. It follows two friends, Robin and Kessie, who are in their mid-thirties, and both want to have families – but motherhood doesn’t pan out in the way that either expects.’
