About this Event
The CIPD Southern Region is pleased to collaborate once again with Jennifer Cashman and the Employment Law team at RDJ Cork for an immersive Mock Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) Hearing event.
Ever been curious about a WRC Adjudication Hearing? Wondering what to expect as an employer or HR professional?
Our Mock WRC Adjudication Hearing offers a first-hand glimpse into its workings and sheds light on how workplace decisions resonate in this setting.
Presided over by current WRC Adjudicator Patsy Doyle, the mock hearing presents both sides of a case, with seasoned employment law professionals Sarah Daly BL, Cara Jane Walsh BL, and Michelle Ryan, Partner at RDJ, leading the proceedings alongside a team from RDJ’s employment law division and the CIPD Southern Region committee.
Post-hearing, we'll delve into key insights from the case, provide an overview of hearing procedures, and Patsy will offer insights into adjudicator considerations and the case's final outcome.
Whether you're a seasoned HR professional, a HR student/graduate, a business owner, or a manager with people management responsibilities, this event offers an invaluable behind-the-scenes understanding of adjudication and of the WRC hearing process.
Note: Tickets for this event are expected to be in very high demand. Should your circumstances change and you can no longer attend the event in person, please cancel your ticket and/or let us know as soon as possible.
No presentation materials will be distributed post-event.
