The Christmas screening of this initiative will be the film “The Christmas Tango.”

Set in the late 1960s, the story unfolds in an isolated army camp during the Christmas season and follows the intertwined lives of four people. A young lieutenant longs to learn the tango so he can invite the colonel’s wife to dance, setting in motion a series of emotional shifts among the characters.

The narrative is framed by a present-day encounter between the now 65-year-old Lazaros Lazarou and a young man on Christmas Day, revealing old secrets and the lasting impact of that long-ago night.
