Iconic French film director Agnes Varda and photographer JR set off in a photo booth van around rural France, meeting and photographing people along the way. Their portraits are blown up to gigantic sizes and plastered over unconventional locations. This award-winning, heart-warming insight into unheralded communities is moving, funny and altogether wonderful.
Cinematheque, a volunteer-run film society, has been locally screening World Cinema's best for over forty years.
