Hosted by Southern Arizona Film Society, a non-profit aimed to uplift the Tucson film community through support, collaboration, and developmental projects to address the pressing issues in local film while also helping to educate and elevate it.

About Us:

Francisco J Landin Jr (Southern Arizona Film Society), is a film director, writer, and producer from Mexico City, with a passion for storytelling that addresses social issues within the film community of Southern Arizona. Raised in Tucson, Arizona, Francisco is committed to producing narratives that champion diversity and inclusivity and showcase our beautiful region. Currently he continues to produce successful local films and music videos for local artists of marginalized backgrounds, striving to help young voices break out and create their vision to ensure a more positive, diverse, and inclusive film culture.

Shawn Dawes (IndieScene.), has over 20 years of experience in the creative industries, encompassing production, development, producing (including studio-level projects), and film distribution. His journey in narrative storytelling has afforded him the opportunity to work on various studio-level projects, receiving interest from major studios and agencies including Scott Free, Overbrook Entertainment, Warner Bros. UK, Lionsgate UK, and Universal, among others.
