On the eve of World Theatre Day, join us for a screening of Aattam
Aattamis a Malayalam thriller that delves into the complexities of gender dynamics and moral ambiguity within a theatre troupe. The film centers on Anjali the sole female member who accuses one of her male colleagues of sexual harassment after a party. This accusation triggers an intense closed-door meeting among the twelve male members where their discussions unravel hidden prejudices power struggles and the nuanced nature of truth.
The film masterfully portrays how individual biases and self-interests can distort perceptions of justice and how difficult it is to find a clear cut answer in situations involving interpersonal conflict.
