Join us to learn from Cindy Coughenour, founder of Fearless and Female, for a lively, humorous, "info-tainment" type program with the goal of teaching women AND men the basics of personal safety. Cindy brings enormous enthusiasm, insight and energy to her unique and thought-provoking presentations.Speaker Bio: Cindy founded Fearless and Female in 2001 as a direct response to the murder of her childhood friend, Julie Ladd. As a Professional Speaker and Self-Defense Advocate, she is certified and trained in many different forms of self-defense.
About Wichita Oasis. Wichita Oasis is a non-religious community for people to come together to connect, be inspired, and feel empowered. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings and programming may include featured speakers, live local musicians, potlucks, service projects, game days, and more.
