Welcome to the Cinders Christmas Snowflake Stained Glass Workshop Join us on , Wednesday December 11, 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Cinder Inn 91 Mill Creek, East Stroudsburg , PA 18301 for a day filled with creativity and artistry. Discover the beauty of stained glass and learn how to create your own masterpieces. This in-person event is perfect for begnners and experienced artists alike. This introductory class provides a foundation for stained glass using the copper foil method originally developed by L.C. Tiffany.
The class begins with an overview an introduction to the tools used. We will cover the art of glass by foiling and soldering. We will not be cutting glass in this workshop.

Cancellation Policy: Participants who cancel a registration; Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to the beginning of the workshop will receive a refund, minus ticket fees or have the options for a credit towards a workshop of stained glass of equal or lesser value in the future (Please read details below *), depending on availability. Cancellations made fewer than 7-14 days prior to the beginning of a class will receive a refund minus a $35 cancelation fee and minus ticket fees. You have the options for a credit towards a workshop of stained glass of equal or lesser value in the future (Please read details below *), depending on availability. Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to the beginning of a class will not receive a refund or have the options for a credit towards a workshop of stained glass of equal or lesser value in the future (Please read details below *), depending on availability. Workshop registrations are not transferable to another person, but you can use them towards a future workshop (please read below for details *). In order to keep workshops reasonably priced for all, we do not make exceptions to this policy for any reason, including illness, medical events, inclement weather or travel delays. If you show up to a class and are visibly ill, or have notified us that you are ill, for the safety of the instructor and other participants, you will be asked to leave, and no accommodations will be made for refund or reschedule of any kind. *Participants requesting to reschedule must choose a new class, one that is on the current schedule and has available space, at the time of the request to reschedule. If a desired stained-glass workshop is unavailable for whatever reason, the situation is treated as a cancellation as noted above. We make no exceptions to this policy. I understand that the decision to cancel or reschedule this workshop or future workshops due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, can be made up to 1 hour before the start of class. If a class is canceled due to an "act of god", weather-related or otherwise, those who have registered will receive an opportunity to transfer their registration fee to a different class. If a class is canceled, we are not responsible for reimbursing travel costs or other reservation fees. We will not refund/reimburse any rental, fuel, airfare, accommodation, or any other travel-related costs regardless of why the class is canceled. I understand and agree the instructor has the right to end the class session at any time, for any reason. Instructor will do so when, in his/her sole opinion, it would be unsafe to continue with the instruction. Instructor(s) shall also have the right to terminate any individual's participation if, in the instructor's sole opinion, said person is acting in a manner hazardous to others. I understand the instructor(s) reserves the right to cancel an under-enrolled workshop. Students are notified of cancellations as early as possible. In that event, you will receive a credit towards another scheduled event equal to the workshop.
No Shows or Late: No Shows for workshops will not receive an accommodation of any kind, as we were unable to fill your seat and there are costs and time investments associated with preparing for this workshop. We do not make exceptions to this policy for any reason, including medical events, inclement weather or travel delays. Late shows of more than 15 minutes after start time of the workshop have been missed, the registrant has the option of rescheduling to another workshop if there is availability or schedule a private session with the instructor(s) (when the instructor(s) or place has availability) for $50/hr to go over information presented in the missed sessions. If a participant is 20 minutes late, too much information has been missed and no accommodations will be made, and they have effectively forfeited their tuition. In order to keep class costs low for all, we do not make exceptions to this policy for any reason, including medical events and/or Inclement weather or travel delays. I understand the stained-glass workshop is carefully designed to give you sufficient class time to complete your project. If you need extra time to complete a project once a class session has finished, studio time is available at the instructor's discretion. This may require scheduling a private lesson, at a cost of $50 per hour. Please note that studio time is not always available and is dependent on glass studio and instructor availability.
Photo Release: I understand that this is a public workshop, and my photo may be taken by the instructor or other participants in this public workshop. If you choose not to have your photo taken you must note this on this form and the instructor will advise others, however, I understand, I will not hold any of the names listed on the liability waiver accountable for other participants actions.
