About the Event & Charity:

Frances Wright, CEO of The Queens Chair & Founder of Angel Wings Of Armor Foundation, Inc. Along with Maisha Bahati CEO of Crystal Nugs and President of Angel Wings Of Armor Foundation, Inc., started Cinderella Night Under the Stars back in 2015, a charity gala dinner that brings awareness to issues of sex trafficking, domestic violence, and mental health that affect our underserved particularly communities here in Sacramento.

We started as 2 local designers who chose to you their platform as a way to give back.

We have been extremely fortunate to receive some major sponsorships over the years including the City of West Sacramento, Hardrock Hotel and Casino, Golden 1, The Citizens Hotel, Sharif Jewelers, State Farm Insurance, Brick House of Elk Grove and Stella Rosa Winery just to name a few.

We have donated to several organizations including Blue Heart International, W.E.A.V.E, My Sister's House, Loaves and Fishes, Veterans of Foreign Affairs and the residents displaced by the Paradise Fires in 2019 and have created events during the year as a way to give back in our community to help the unhomed and women with children.

MISSION:

The Angel Wing Of Armor Foundation was founded on the principles of MSGT. Leondas Vincent Wright Sr., a STALWART VFW (VETERANS OF FOREIGN WAR) leader who aided fellow Veterans and their families during times of need. Msgt Wright served in the US Air Force from 1946 until retiring in 1975.

Since 2015 Founder Frances Wright and President Maisha Bahati creating the Cinderella Night Under The Stars, we have grown our platform in our communities giving back with an annual charity gala dinner that has brought awareness to issues in our community of sex trafficking, domestic violence, and mental health that affects our underserved in our communities along with many Charity give backs events during the year.

The foundation has except the torch and continues the legacy helping the unhomed Veterans. Being the voice for the voiceless who are begging for benefits due to them. Making sure the veteran is getting the right evaluations, if any once they get out of service. Helping veterans get better care. Stopping the neglect and disrespect. Helping spouses get the same equal care. Helping the elderly veteran’s spouse who are being unfairly denied benefits after the veteran has been diagnosed and passed of agent orange or any service-related ailment. Helping to get more veterans or military civilians in the VA hospitals, nursing homes or clinics who understand a veteran.

We will be looking to work with the support from our federal and state legislators who actively pursue legislation that positively impact our nations veterans to help make our communities better.
