ABOUT CINDERELLA
Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella is the new Broadway adaptation of the classic musical. This contemporary take on the classic tale features Rodgers & Hammerstein's most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It's Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” alongside an up-to-date, hilarious and romantic libretto by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Ovation Theatre is committed to producing professional-quality youth and adult theatre in the greater North County, San Diego area. Since its founding, Ovation Theatre has become an award-winning theatre company, where students of all ages, levels, and abilities can explore the world of theatre arts, hone their skills, and discover their passion for performing.
Under the guidance of Pamela Laurent and Scott Gregory, co-founders and executive directors of Ovation Theatre, students are trained to become professional-quality performers, and to create outstanding productions for the community. Pamela, an accomplished singer and performer, has sung leading roles in musicals and operas throughout the US and abroad. Scott, a renowned music director and vocal coach, has helped his students to succeed on the professional stage in New York, London, San Diego, and beyond. With their combined expertise and experience, Pamela and Scott have created a safe space where all are welcome to come and create.
At Ovation Theatre, students are encouraged to stretch their wings, hone their skills, and become comfortable in the world of theatre arts. From beginners to advanced performers, students of all levels are provided with professional-quality training, and are given the opportunity to participate in a wide range of productions throughout the year.
