FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT: Enjoy a delicious spicy buffet; fun "mocktails" and sweets, try your hand at our packed pinata, get your feet moving with salsa dancing, help us raise funds by bidding on our amazing display of silent auction items and a join us for a night of fun to support our ongoing efforts to help alleviate the suffering of neighbors in our community! We provide hygiene items, connect individuals to long term (mental and physical) health resources - including substance use intervention and recovery options. Our Assistance Ministry works hard to match clients with opportunities (housing, employment, self sufficiency) in our community. We strive to help individuals realize their worth and find strength to overcome barriers preventing them from gaining self sufficiency. Our Place ensures folks have a safe place during the day to conduct job searches on our computers, join a peer support session or empowerment meeting, keep their items safe and connect and meet people from the community who may be able to assist them with their needs.
Sometimes that means we host a party in their honor...to raise funds and augment the services we already provide or to improve and expand these efforts. We seek sponsors to help us raise funds on behalf of these efforts...and we need YOU to come and spend an evening at Our Place...to connect with your neighbors in unity...
