Bienvenue au cinéjam, un évènement gratuit et ouvert à tous alliant improvisation musicale et projection cinématographique.Ce mois-ci, c’est le cinéma d’animation qui sera à l’honneur avec la projection des Aventures du prince Ahmed, un long métrage réalisé par l’animatrice Lotte Reiniger en 1926 avec la technique du papier découpé et librement inspiré des contes des Mille et une nuits.
Le film sera projeté avec un accompagnement musical électronique improvisé en direct par les musiciennes et musiciens du collectif Silicon Beats… et peut-être vous?

Welcome to cinéjam, a free event open to all, combining musical improvisation and film screenings.
This month, film animation will be in the spotlight with a screening of The Adventures of Prince Achmed, a feature film directed by animator Lotte Reiniger in 1926 using the paper cutout technique and loosely based on the tales of One Thousand and One Nights.
The film will be screened with live electronic music improvisation by the musicians of the Silicon Beats collective... and maybe you?
