Speaker: Clare Bottle FCILT, Chief Executive, UKWA
Over the past decade, the amount of space given over to warehouses in the UK has increased by half. Individual warehouses are getting bigger and taller; and there are more of them. What is behind this increase? Is it good for the economy? And what is going to happen next? In addressing these questions, our speaker Clare Bottle will paint a picture of warehousing through the ages and draw on her 30 years of industry experience to explain how political stability, mass consumerism and the circular economy of tomorrow are all reliant on the humble warehouse.
