The Bay’s creative heartbeat keeps pulsing with another unforgettable Ciel Sessions!

We’re bringing the energy, the soul, and the conversation with an all-star lineup of Oakland’s finest. Dr. Akilah Cadet — the unapologetic voice behind Humane Rights, her bold new podcast about justice, joy, and being human — sits down with the CO-LLAB Choir, and the visionary force, Cava Menzies . Together, they’ll drop gems on creativity, culture, and community — followed by a live performance that’ll shake your spirit in the best way.

The evening kicks off with powerhouse solo sets from Sarah Vela, Zoe Boston, and Domine Brishawn, leading into a full-choir performance by CO-LLAB.

Fresh off stages like Outside Lands and the Oakland Coliseum, and having collaborated with artists such as Montell Jordan, Goapele, and LaRussell, CO-LLAB brings their signature fire — harmonies that hit deep and that undeniable Bay magic.

You’ll also experience live artwork by Taylor Smalls, whose vibrant palette knife paintings celebrate Black and brown skin in radiant, multidimensional color.
