About this Event
Take your palate on a crisp and refreshing journey through the world of cider. Led by the expert staff of Lake Michigan College’s Wine and Viticulture Technology Program, this tasting experience explores six unique ciders from traditional and modern producers around the globe.
From the wild funk of French and Spanish farmhouse ciders to the clean precision of English styles and bold innovations from North America, you’ll discover how apples (and sometimes pears!) are transformed into something truly special. Learn about cider-making methods, regional styles, and how to taste cider like a pro—no previous experience required!
This Extended Education class is for personal enrichment only and is not eligible for college credit. If you are interested in learning more about LMC’s Wine and Viticulture Technology program, please reach out to Program Director Tim Godfrey at [email protected].
