Hello friends, we had so much fun pressing cider and it's such a good apple year that we are scheduling ANOTHER cider pressing event on October 4th. Feel free to pop in when you like to help grind apples, have a glass and bring a donation to check out Julija's amazing tie dye station - take home your own custom Growing Pontiac bandana! We don't usually press enough cider to send it home with folks, but there will be plenty to drink and enjoy, as well as some food and if the weather permits, a fire for s'mores and more.
Interested in bringing some local apples? A GREAT place to pick quality apples up is at the Adams Road Meadowbrook entrance. Many 70+ year old trees are maintained there.
Accessibility notes: 119 Oliver is a backyard garden space. There is a slope or a few steps to reach the back yard. Parking is on the street, but parking on the lot can be arranged if you reach out to [email protected]. There is a restroom on site, on the second floor. Please reach out with concerns or questions!
