🍎 Cider Pressing Farm Day at Parker Learning Gardens📍 31239 Lanes Turn Rd, Eugene, Oregon

Celebrate the fall harvest with hands-on fun, fresh flavors, and a peek behind the scenes of our working farm.
Activities
• Apple Picking – Harvest your own apples straight from the orchard.
• Community Cider Pressing – Help crank the press and taste fresh cider.
• Farmstand – Seasonal produce, herbs, and farm goods.
• Pears & Nuts – Sample fresh pears and collect and crack hazelnuts!
• approx 3:00 PM: Tour – Walk through our farm and meet the goats, pigs, chickens and bunnies while learning about many educational things along the way.
Good to Know
• Wear comfy closed toed shoes; bring a water bottle.
• We’ll have a cider pressing station and sample cups for cider, bring your own half gallon or smaller jug to bring home! (U-pick the apples and pay what you can through the farmstand for them and then contribute some apples and help press cider to take home!)
• All Ages welcome! Long walk to the orchard and back, also tour could be a longer walk. Be prepared for being mobile on the farm (big wheeled strollers, baby carriers, large wheeled wagons, wheelbarrows all welcome)
• We will provide u-pick bags upcycled by our amazing volunteers out of our animal feed bags!
