Cian Downing
“Don’t come calling me again!” is Cian Downing’s message to his doubters in his brand new single ‘Untouchable’, a toe-tapping indie-ska belter that has become a sing-along moment at live gigs in a matter of a few short weeks. Downing, a singer-songwriter hailing from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, is emerging onto the British indie scene with his infectious energy and refreshing melodic songwriting in the style of Billy Bragg, Paul Weller and The Specials.
Cian is bringing his band and their energetic live show to The Observer Building, Hastings this November, in what will be his debut headline show on the South Coast. They are touring the UK extensively throughout 2024 as Cian builds up the release of his debut album ‘The Grassroots to the Sky.’ Grab a ticket for this gig for an early opportunity to listen to all the new material from this upcoming release.

Slow Time Mondays are a 4 piece band from Crawley, West Sussex. Consisting of brothers Billy and Joe Morgan and childhood friends Ryan Scopes and Charlie Wright.
Striving for big riffs and catchy choruses, their songs aim to fuse their childhood influences of Indie, new wave Mod and Ska sounds. Within their debut album ‘Century’, are tunes that are the perfect accumulation of those influences.
Recently hailed as “One of Crawley’s most exciting exports since The Cure”. The band have already played the Isle of Wight and Truck Festival, as well as picking up support slots for Glen Matlock, The Vapors, The Skinner Brothers, The Clause and many more.

Opening the evening will be up and coming Hastings band, First.Form. With a catchy pop-punk mix, these young men are already making a name for themselves.
