Hoewel het technisch en serieus klinkt, het is ook gewoon leuk. Als je het plezier ontdekt om je lichaam en je beweging te onderzoeken om er daarna mee te bewegen dan wordt CI een mooie ervaring!
De wervelkolom is de motor van de mobiliteit en door wat we gaan doen zal de bewegingsmogelijkheid en de bewegingskwaliteit binnen CI aanzienlijk verfijnt worden.
FLOW
Via oefeningen spelen we met bewegingsmogelijkheden, articulatie en ondersteuning, zowel solo als in contact. Er is aandacht voor beschikbaarheid van beweging in het lichaam, motorische efficiëntie en hoe de organisatie van de wervelkolom het delen van gewicht en de flow beïnvloedt. Het werk biedt concrete tools die gemak, bereik en helderheid in het dansen ondersteunen.
SERIES
Deze workshop maakt deel uit van een reeks: workshops die meerdere ingangen bieden tot de CI-praktijk, waarin somatisch bewustzijn, technische verkenning en creatieve improvisatie met elkaar worden verweven. Verspreid over zes verschillende thema’s beweegt het werk zich tussen luisteren en handelen, structuur en spel, stilstand en momentum. Deelnemers worden uitgenodigd hun verbinding met het lichaam te verdiepen, hun bewegingsvocabulaire uit te breiden en hun sensitiviteit in contact met anderen te verfijnen.

This Contact Improvisation workshop approaches the dance practice from somatic awareness and a practical exploration of spinal mobility. The spine is the motor of movement, and by moving with it in this way, both the range and the quality of movement within CI are significantly refined.
Through clear, physical tasks, participants explore movement possibilities, articulation, and support, both solo and in contact. Attention is given to the availability of movement in the body, motor efficiency, and how the organization of the spine influences weight sharing and flow. The work offers concrete tools that support ease, range, and clarity in dancing.
This workshop is part of a series - workshops that offer multiple entry points into the CI practice, weaving together somatic awareness, technical exploration, and creative improvisation. Across six distinct themes, the work moves between listening and action, structure and play, stillness and momentum. Participants are invited to deepen their connection to the body, expand their movement vocabulary, and refine their sensitivity in contact with others.
