With several different teachers, we take you through the many layers of contact improvisation. From playful connections to intuitive explorations, these workshops are an invitation to find your own rhythm. No prior experience is neededโjust bring an open mind and a willingness to move!
These sessions are especially welcoming to beginners, or to those who want to reconnect with the fundamentals.

Meet Kees Lemmens:
"As a kid I already loved theater and dance. As an adult, initially while studying architecture, my interest in dance has pretty much always been a mixture of contemporary dance, improvisation and choreography.
I learned Contact Improvisation as something specific from many dance-partners and teachers, including some of the founders of Contact Improvisation."

Another Kind Of Blue is known for beautiful choreography mixed with technique. With international acclaim, we make shows where we fly with drones, use projections and are currently developing a VR experience.
However, we believe dance is more than perfection and technique. Therefore, we are embracing contact improvisation, a form where spontaneity and direct interaction with each other are key. We encourage people to let go of control, trust their instincts and each other and discover new, unpredictable movements.
