About this Event
The Department of Health Care Access & Information (HCAI), California Health & Human Services Agency (CalHHS), Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will hold a CHW/P/R Community Dialogue Session at Roots Commmunity Health-Armstead Hall (7830 MacArthur Blvd.) on Thursday, May 2, 2024 (SPACE IS LIMITED).
The session serves as an opportunity to engage with community partners in a collaborative effort to enhance the effectiveness and reach of health services across California through:
- Strengthening the capacity of Community Health Workers/Promoters/Representatives (CHW/P/R)
- Boosting the uptake of the CHW/P/R Medi-Cal benefit among eligible populations
- Developing a relevant certification program for CHW/P/Rs
