Come join us for the darkest of dark, the blackest of black, the re-animated bat cave. We have done a few theme nights so far where the attire and the atmosphere has been themed, but TENEBRIUM is different. This time we are theming the music as well and focusing on classic goth sounds ranging from the early 00s and back accompanied by modern continuations of those genres.

Yes this means I'm putting away the EDM for this month.

This night also comes with a promise. If you make this the biggest and best CHVRCH yet, we will make TENEBRIUM happen again.

This time we have the gorgeous and ghastly Happy Birthday bringing it's own curated style of horror drag to our stage. Happy is a monster on stage and off and has worked diligently to be the current reigning Miss East Lansing Pride.

The gothest of goth attire. This night, let's let us be a caricature unto ourselves. I want to see your expression of goth, whether it be classic trad goth, death rock, cybergoth, or something similarly inspired. If you're at a loss and don't want to check Google images, just dress like you're going to a funeral in fashion, you'll fit right in.

🎶Remember, CHVRCH is a community space that is unified beyond venues, borders, and cultures. No matter who you are or where you come from, you're welcome here as long as you're willing to respect others. We will always look out for each other and strive to make our space as safe as possible. There are plenty of people who feel they don't have the correct attire for a goth night, but we don't judge. Goth is a feeling. If you come with respect and dance with us, you're one of us. Whether you're draped in black, relaxing in jeans and a hoodie, decked out in drag, or covered in neon green - you belong here at CHVRCH.
