A Charge conference is an annual business meeting that takes place in every UMC church each Fall as each congregation reviews the year and plans for a new year. Our District Superintendent, Rev Lou Ward, will be joining us as we look at the following items:
- Reviewing the church’s mission and ministries
- Electing church leaders for the coming year
- Setting clergy salary
- Recommending candidates for ordained or licensed ministry
- Receiving membership reports
- Celebrating milestones and reflecting on the past year
Everyone is invited to attend, and all members have a vote.
Maly Strietzel, Pastor Aaron's wife, will be asking for a vote as she begins her ordination as a deacon with the United Methodist Church.
