For our first event of 2025 we’re collaborating with our friends at Earth Frequency Festival, solidifying those festival feels on the chapel dance-floor.
Earth Frequency is a cornerstone of Australia's festival culture, merging the psychedelic music experience with art and community. Not only that, it's founder Paul Abad is an absolute weapon of a techno DJ which you would know all too well if you've seen him perform at the Church of Techno alter the last two times we've hosted him.
The name Alpaka Muzik is synonymous with it's frontman, Kozy. Running rings around the globe with constant touring, Kozy is taking Alpaka to every corner of the globe, imprinting as one of the primary platforms for psytech and dark minimal.
We're absolutely thrilled to be hosting the dark, hypnotic and psychedelic tones of Tilda. The french sorceress has been dropping her haunting sensations on Pointzero and Occultech, whilst taking to the stages of Mo:Dem, Bucht Der Traumer, Fusion, Hadra, Masters of Puppets, Drops and Sisyphos.

♛ ABOUT THE CHURCH
We asked the archbishop how he would describe the Church of Techno. He replied with, “Powerful, dark, filthy. The parties your mother warned you about.”
Pure, hypnotic, psychedelic, bush techno. Raunchy, girthy, groovy, driving, dirty, dangerously delectable music on display.
The ethos is held close to the heart: boundary pushing, hypnotic, twisted, a day of debauchery prejudice free.
Join us in our chapel, and yours; the loyal disciples.
Originating in the dark archways of London circa ‘07, the Church migrated to Sydney in 2010, birthing the original Sunday mass for music. Circling the CBD over Sunday afternoons and Saturday night’s under “The Techno Bug” - 2019 birthed the resurgence of the Church of Techno, growing to biblical proportions. Our beliefs shan't be squandered…
● NO TOLERANCE TO OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOURS
We operate a no tolerance to offensive behaviours policy. Prejudice is not welcome at any of our events. We are queer & POC friendly; racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any form of discriminating behaviour or harassment or unwanted sexual advancements are strictly not tolerated and will result in immediate exclusion from the event and blacklisting from all future Church of Techno events.
Introverts and extroverts are welcome alike, we just ask you step out of the realm of social conformity. Church of Techno is a welcoming place for all to enjoy.

In 2023 we began our CONTACT THE CREW initiative. If you are feeling safe for any reason, including but not limited to, being subject to offensive or misogynistic behaviour, seek out a Church of Techno core crew member wearing a “CREW” t-shirt and they will help you.
