About this Event
The Ruritan Club was started in Holland Virginia in 1928 as a local community service organization and the Chuckatuck Ruritan Club was chartered shortly thereafter on January 16, 1930. Ruritan Clubs have served America with Fellowship, Goodwill, and Community Service. Last year the Chuckatuck Ruritan Club donated over $19,000 thousand dollars to local organizations that include and are not limited to the following:
C.A.P.S, Western Tidewater Free Clinic, Meals on Wheels, Boys Scouts, BSA Eagle Projects, Boys and Girls State, American Cancer Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Cheer Fund, and Libraries, just to name a few. Included in this figure was a donation to Save The Children Foundation that supported women and children displaced by the Ukranian conflict.
This will be the 94th Year of community service for the Chuckatuck Ruritan Club and we need your support to continue our commitment to the community.
