Get Set Yeti and Carolina House Trust are celebrating their growth mindset partnership with a pop-up shop in Dundee’s West End!
Yetis are taking over 272 Perth Road (The Little Green Larder) on Thursday 23rd May from 10am to 5pm and invite the whole community to come and play with us. With competitions, games and activities we will spend the day sharing yeti stories and discovering our potential with a growth mindset.
Staff from Carolina House Trust will also be available to talk about fostering and answer your questions about types of caring and how you can get involved.
*Sinderins Scavenger Hunt*
The Get Set Yeti team will be letting local schools know how they can get involved and you can pick up the clues from the pop-up shop on the day.

We will also have a ‘design a poster’ competition in the shop on that day.

*About the Pop-Up Shop*
Get Set Yeti and Carolina House Trust have collaborated to produce growth mindset resources to support our carers in their day-to-day lives. By having accessible growth mindset games and activities we hope to promote the benefits growth mindset can bring to the lives of our young people are they overcome challenges, develop resilience and celebrate success. We are now keen to share these resources with the whole community and are starting in our home, the West End of Dundee.

We hope by bringing our organsiations to the bustling heart of a community we can engage more families and collaborators (and support Jillian’s vision for a vibrant and productive closing period for the site of The Little Green Larder.) It’s also a timely event to coincide with Foster Care Fortnight, the national annual celebration of foster carers and awareness campaign by The Fostering Network.
