About this Event
Calling all Bay Area data buffs and trivia heads! The Chronicle’s 3rd annual Data Trivia Night is returning to Manny’s on January 30th for an evening of spirited competition around the numbers that define the Bay Area.
Among other topics, our trivia questions will tackle the region’s geography, demographics, politics and culture. (Your useless knowledge about how many people take the ferry every year? Not so useless anymore.)
This year, in addition to our usual hosts from the Chronicle data team, we’ve also tapped some local data celebrities to serve as guest trivia masters, including Google data editor Simon Rogers, among others. Plus, we’re amping up the prizes, so the winners will take home some special gifts — along with eternal bragging rights.
Hint: Want a leg up on the competition? Study the Data Team’s recent work!)
Quiz teams of anywhere from two to six people can compete, and we’ll help individual players find new friends to play with.
