BIO:
"Christopher Morse has spent his life chasing melodies that mean something. A veteran of the Colorado music scene, Morse crafts songs that live at the crossroads of folk storytelling, country warmth, and indie-pop intimacy. His 2023 EP, Covering Old Scars, showcased a textured, “sink-your-teeth-in” soundscape, while his 2025 release, Closer Than Before, brings his writing even closer to the heart. The lead single, Nobody Else, is a song about what it feels like to know you’ve found the one, and you couldn’t imagine being with anyone else.
Morse graced the Carnegie Hall stage with the American Boychoir before finding his own voice as a songwriter shaped by the sounds of John Mayer. Starting with small performances in local coffee shops, he quickly grew into a songwriter with a reputation for both vulnerability and polish. His journey has taken him from Washington, D.C. to New York City, performing at iconic rooms like Rockwood Music Hall and The Tin Angel, and eventually westward to Colorado.
Since landing in Boulder, Morse has brought his songs to audiences across the state and beyond. He’s played the Boulder Theater, Roots Music Project, and Lost Lake, while also making his Nashville debut at the legendary Music Row Freak Show writers’ rounds. Known for performances that balance intimacy with energy, Morse’s live shows draw listeners in with heartfelt storytelling, engaging banter, and a warmth that makes even the largest rooms feel like a living room. Whether he’s making a crowd laugh, leading a heartfelt singalong, or holding the room silent with a quiet ballad, Christopher Morse leaves audiences feeling connected, uplifted, and part of the story."
