Christmas carols will set the mood, food vendors will tickle your taste buds, and there will be heaps of activities for the young and young at heart.

Is it free to attend?
• Yes, this is a free event for the whole family!
What time will the movie start?
• Once the sun goes down, between 8:30 and 9pm.
What time should I arrive?
• A bit earlier than 5pm, to secure a great spot on the hill and park your picnic.
Do I have to attend the Carols, or can I just come along for the movie?
• No, you don’t have to attend the carols to enjoy the movie! However, we recommend arriving before sundown to secure a spot and enjoy the screening comfortably.
Are transport options available?
• Yes, a free shuttle bus will be operating between 4.00pm-11.59pm from Bar Beach Car Park to King Edward Park, doing continuous loops every 10-15 minutes.
Is alcohol permitted?
• No, this is an alcohol-free event.
Will food and drinks be available for purchase?
• Yes, there will be food vendors on-site selling a variety of delicious food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Can I bring a picnic?
• Absolutely! We just ask that you leave glassware at home and stick to plastic only, please.
Can I bring a chair or pram?
• Yes, however, we’ll kindly ask that you sit in a designated area behind the attendees on the ground.
Can I bring my dog?
• We kindly ask you to leave your pooch at home.
Are captions available?
• Yes, all screenings will include captions to ensure everyone in the community can enjoy the movie!
What happens if it rains?
• We’ll closely monitor the weather in the lead-up to the event and provide any updates here ahead of time.
