The City of Newburgh's annual Christmas Tree Recycling Program returns on January 11th! This popular annual event offers residents a sustainable way to dispose of their holiday trees while helping to enhance the local environment.
Event Details:
• Date: January 11
• Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Location: Activity Center, 401 Washington Street, Newburgh
The Department of Public Works (DPW) will be on-site to chip holiday trees into fresh mulch. After the trees are chipped, Conservation Advisory Council volunteers will be on hand to distribute the mulch to residents, free of charge.
To ensure a smooth recycling process, please remember to remove all tree stands, nails, ornaments, tinsel, and plastic items before drop-off.
