Join us for the Christmas Tree Illumination and Advent Calendar Launch! Gather with us on Sunday, 1st December, for an enchanting evening of festive fun, brought to you by the Helperby Brafferton Village Community Association, with the tree generously donated by our Parish Council. Come along from 4:45pm, as we count down to the big 5pm switch-on! This year, we’re thrilled to once again launch our beloved Village Advent Calendar, a truly magical tradition that highlights the creativity and festive spirit of our community. Each evening, a beautifully decorated window, door, or lawn will be revealed—adding sparkle and surprise to our Christmas countdown. And it all begins with door number 1: the Christmas tree! To fill the air with holiday cheer, the enchanting Emily’s Choir will lead us in all your favourite carols, so warm up your singing voices! And, of course, there’ll be plenty of mince pies and warming hot drinks to keep everyone toasty and merry as we celebrate together. Wrap up warm, bring your family and friends, and join us for this festive celebration that lights up not just the tree, but the heart of our village.
