Christmas Star Decorations Metal Embossing Workshop – we are super excited about how gorgeous this workshop is with new tutor Donna from Make Your Own Happy, a brand dedicated to helping people embrace creativity as a tool for self-care. Join us for a relaxing, hands-on Metal Embossing Workshop making a selection beautiful Christmas Decorations!Over 2.5 creative hours, Donna will guide you step-by-step in crafting a selection of keep forever metal stars and other decorations which can include starts wreathes, birds and Christmas trees.
All materials are provided, including 2 x A4 sheets of metal per person, allowing you to make a variety of decorations. You can focus on the joy of making something beautiful, while slowing down and nurturing your creativity.
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a fun, mindful project—no experience needed!
You will leave the workshop with a selection of decorations that you can keep for yourself, attach to the front of a card, hang from a tree or mantlepiece or give away as gifts for Christmas. But…. the thing we love most about this workshop is how sustainable it is. Once your have learned the techniques you can flatten out your tomato puree and other metal tubes, give them a good wash and turn them into decorations too!
Donna started Make Your Own Happy as a way to promote creativity as a form of self-care. Her mission is driven by a deep passion for creativity, curiosity, sustainability, slowing down, and finding the magic in everyday moments.
As well as running in person workshops, Donna also sells craft kits and has online tutorials and sew-alongs. Make your own Happy craft kits are designed to inspire and encourage your creativity, while also promoting relaxation and mindfulness. Each kit comes with all the materials you need to complete a beautiful and unique project, along with instructions that are easy to follow.

This workshop is aimed all levels including beginners.
The workshop is being run with a maximum capacity of 10 participants and will be from 7pm – 9.30pm at a cost of £30. Tea or Coffee will be provided.
The session will be held in our Lower Studio with entry via the Eastern End of the building.
